2 Thessalonians

Sunday, 14 November 2021 // God's Story: New Testament

Description

CERC will begin a new mini-series this Sunday – The Church's Future! Are you curious about how God's Story will end?

The Thessalonians were! In fact, some of them were perhaps too eager about the end times, to the point of becoming deceived by others that the Day of the Lord had already come. Hence, in 2 Thessalonians, the Apostle Paul corrected their mistaken beliefs regarding the end times, and exhorted them to stand firm and hold onto the gospel traditions that he had taught them.

Christians should not be idle, and instead they ought to continue walking in a manner worthy of their calling and reflective of their hope in the gospel, regardless of the suffering and persecution they are facing, and no matter how long it takes for the Lord to return.
