Gen Zers are a generation that, for the most part, have been affirmed, supported and rewarded for their achievements, and even applauded for their mediocrity at times.

Societally, we’ve cushioned their falls, boosted their confidence, and told them they can do anything they set their minds to doing. But the reality is failure is a part of life, and this has resulted in most Gen Zers having a false sense of self.

How then should Gen Zers who are constantly unhappy at work, having a hard time finding joy, and generally feeling like we’ve underachieved, approach the failures in life?
